Hi Everyone,
Thank you for visiting ACCO’s brand new website! We are excited to be doing this relaunch where you can find up-to-date information on the club and our events, access websites of our community affiliates and sponsors, learn about volunteer opportunities in the Asian Canadian community, and read up on interesting articles and commentaries posted by our talented members.
This month, ACCO is frantically organizing two major events that are coming up in the next several months. The first event will be a fundraiser which will highlight the uniqueness of Asian Canadian performers and artists in the Lower Mainland. The event will be held on Friday, February 20 in the SUB Ballroom at UBC. For those interested in performing, obtaining tickets or finding out more about how YOU can get involved, please get in touch with our Fundraiser Chair, Kristina Chang.
Our second event is ACCO’s second annual UnConference which will be held on March 5 and 6. Like last year’s format, we will have 5-6 workshops focused on different topics that are pertinent to Asian Canadians. The workshops will be faciliated by our members who have been working hard at researching. If you would like to get more information or collaborate in presenting this unique event, please contact our UnConference Chair Andrea Chan.
